The Lindvall family has been roasting coffee for five generations, they are still roast their coffee according to the family recipe which was created by their great great grandfather!
Lindvalls Kaffe is about willpower and passion. In the 1880’s the young Eric Lindvall left his home in the village Undenäs in search for work. He wandered north. In the small town of Tierp he fell in love with Josefina, a shoemaker’s daughter. They married in 1891 and together they started trading and selling spices, tea and of course coffee. Eric and Josefina were very happy together, their business was flourishing and six children were born. With a growing passion for coffee they decided to expand their business.
The family moved from Tierp to Uppsala. Where Kungsgatan Street meets Strandbogatan Street they found the perfect property right next to the railroad. Eric and Josefina’s dreams had come true and a new coffee business was built up. The factory has been located in this exact position for five generations. The knowledge, craftsmanship and the lifelong love for coffee has been handed down through the generations and they are still producing world class coffee.
